History
- 1977Helmut Winter opens Center Tool Company in
1,000 sq ft. facility in Schaumburg, IL - 1999Center Tool constructs and relocates to a 6,000 sq ft. facility in Hampshire, Illinois.
- 2002Allan Winter named second generation president of the company.
- 2008Center Tool expands production capacity with automatic pallet-change machining centers.
- 2018Russell Winter assumes operations of Center Tool as CEO.
- 2019Center Tool incorporates one-and-done manufacturing with the acquisition of dual-spindle live tooling CNC lathe capabilities.
- 2020Center Tool becomes ISO 9001:2015 compliant, ensuring conformance to the highest quality manufacturing processes.
